About Me

Hi, I'm Tom Harris.

I'm a speaker, author, marketing coach, business engineer, futurist, cat and dog lover, singer, songwriter, book addict, student of nearly everything, explainer of complexities, and creator of cool new ideas. 

I'm an outspoken advocate for small business, self-determination, and free enterprise.  I believe in the individual’s creative potential and ability to make life better for themselves and everyone else.  I believe that a small business is never a separate thing from its owner, and that personal development and business development are the same thing.

Through speaking, writing, seminars and workshops, I teach small business owners about marketing and managing their businesses.

Through personal coaching, I help them create and put into action effective marketing plans, and I provide encouragement and accountability along the way.

I've ridden the roller coaster of self-employment and business creation for over 25 years, made my share of mistakes along the way, and am dedicated to teaching other business owners how to avoid making their own mistakes.

I have found that most small business owners are interested in doing what they went into business to do.  I teach that the best use of your time is to do what you’re good at, and then hire someone else to do the rest.

I’m looking for small business owners who already understand that things could better if they had a plan.
